During the Summer of 2012 I bought an underwater disposable camera. I always loved sea-swimming but found it difficult to motivate myself to get into the water unless it was a really warm day. Now I had a reason, an excuse; something to make up my mind. I soon became addicted.
A huge sensation of excitement would build up as I swiftly used up the 24 exposures on the film and could get it developed. I really enjoy the unpredictability related to taking photos in the water. One has to give up trying to control the outcome of the image.
It is difficult to describe the amazing experience of swimming in the sea. I have tried my best to relay the sensations through my writing and underwater photos.
Currently I am using an old Canon 35mm As-6 and I have previously used a digital Fujifilm XP50.
